Welcome to the parents' page on our school website. You should find school notices and information here. If you require any further details, please contact us. Health and SafetyPeople are not allowed to enter or exit the school grounds by climbing over the wall and railings. It is extremely dangerous. Please use the gates even if you think you may be late.
Animals are not allowed on the school grounds. It is upsetting to many of the small children to see dogs being brought into and around the school. There is no supervision of children until they are collected by their teacher at 8.50am. Please stay with your child on yard or make arrangements with another parent to do so. If you arrive to school after your child’s class has gone in please walk around to the front door to get access from the office. From May 21st all doors will be closed after the classes have entered. Please be mindful of the language used and topics discussed when you are in the school yard. There are hundreds of small children around and we do not want them exposed to inappropriate conversation in the grounds. Now that the good weather is here (hopefully!) please remember to put sunscreen on your child before school every day.

Parents' Council Annual General Meeting

As part of our World Book Day celebrations on Friday 3rd March, we are inviting the children to come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book. If they have a copy of the book we would like them to bring it along too. Please do not go to unnecessary trouble or expense with costumes, it is just an opportunity for us to foster a love of reading by involving the children in fun book related activities for the day.

School Walk 2016
Our Annual Sponsored Walk will take place on Sunday 9th October. The walk is the main fundraising activity for the year and we hope it will be a successful and enjoyable day for everyone. All money raised will benefit the children in school. Come along with your family and friends and please encourage them to sponsor the children generously.
The walk will begin at 2.00 p.m. sharp so please assemble at the school in good time to register before the walk. There will be crisps and a drink for the children after the walk and a disco in the school hall until 4.45 p.m.
Safety
Each junction on the walk will be manned by volunteers (parents and teachers) to ensure the safety of the children. Please co-operate with these stewards and only cross the road where there are stewards on duty.
Teachers will lead the school walk. Please do not set off on the walk before these teachers, as stewards may not be in place along the route before 2.00 p.m. and some of the crossing points are dangerous.
If you would like to help at the junctions and crossings please sign the slip that was sent home and return to the school by Wednesday, October 5th. Volunteering to help means that you must remain at your allocated junction for the duration of the walk. Volunteers will not be able to accompany their children on the walk.

We had a very successful and enjoyable night on Friday 15th. There was great support for the fundraising event in aid of the preschool class. More than €13000 was raised. A very sincere thank you to all who contributed and a special thank you to Deirdre and Sandra for their wonderful work.
It was particularly gratifying to receive a donation of €500 from the boys from 6th class in Drimnagh Castle, most of whom are past pupils.
There are two other events planned as fundraisers for the class; the Women’s Mini Marathon on the June Bank Holiday and Hell and Back in June.

A huge THANK YOU to all of you that have helped out and supported our recent fundraising events.
It was great to see so many helping out in organising the hall in preparation for the Arts & Crafts Exhibition, The hall looked fantastic, it was very clear a lot of time and hard work was put in.
We recently had a bag collection. We collected 160 bags which in turn gave us a total of €560. Thank you!
In December we held a hugely successful 'Coffee Morning'. With the great efforts and generosity of parents and our school community, it raised €3009 for our school! So thank you for all of your hard work and support.
