Birds - January 2017
In Rooms 11 and 12 we are learning all about Birds this month. We are learning about native Irish birds and birds from other places. We are learning about their physical characteristics, their habitats, the food they eat and their migratory patterns. We have already learned a lot about the robin, the cuckoo and the ostrich. Over the next week or so we will do projects on a chosen bird and will research them at home and in school. We also learned how to sketch birds.
In Room 12 we made bird feeders and hung them up in the school garden. We are already attracting lots of birds to the garden.
