Second Class studied the effects of heating and cooling on a solid called 'CHOCOLATE'!! The students didn't just make rice crispy buns. They observed and recorded a solid turning into a liquid, and a liquid turning back into a solid through changes of temperature. We discussed foods whereby this process can be reversed and foods where it cannot be reversed.
Needless to say this was a very popular discussion as the students waited with baited breath to sample this science experiment based on 'states of matter'!
