Notices from Parents Council
Autumn 2015
Any of you who availed of coffee on opening day probably met the committee of the Parents' Council that morning. Our thanks to them and to the volunteers who helped out. It is a great service on a very important day.
Other events/routines organised by the parents include:
(a) Monthly Draw: Tickets are distributed through the classes i.e. You get a letter and an envelope requesting that you buy a ticket. If you haven't already done so, you ought to get your envelope back to the office so you can be included in the draw held each month in the school.
(b) Clothes Recycling: 160 bags of unwanted clothes, curtains and other fabrics were dropped off at the school and later collected by Liberties Recycling. The schools get €4 per bag i.e. €640. Thanks to all involved.
(c) Loose Change Friday: those colourful Minions just love to be fed with the loose coins!!

Our Yearly Events

Welcome Coffee Morning for New Parents
On the first day of the new term we provide tea and coffee in the school hall. This gives parents an opportunity to meet other new mums and dads as well as letting parents be close by their children for their first day of school.
Loose Change Fridays
Every Friday morning we have a collection of loose change. There are a number of collection bottles located around the school. All money raised goes towards the upkeep and updating of our interactive whiteboards in all the classrooms.
Christmas Coffee Morning
Every December we hold a coffee morning. We have a raffle, sweets and stationary stall; guess the hamper and we sell our own magic reindeer food. Donations of cakes, biscuits and spot prizes would be greatly appreciated.
